About Bulgaria

Bulgaria is among the few European countries, which has very fertile lands and climate that allows the formation of micro-regions, whose specific ecology favors cultivation of a great variety of aromatic plants and medicinal herbs of highest quality, including some relics.

Bulgaria is a traditional producer of essential oils, floral waters and natural extracts, which expertise dates more than 400 years back in time. Initially, essential oils and floral waters were produced in primitive “direct fire” stills and in the beginning of the 20th centuries, industrial methods of production were introduced, namely steam distillation.
